Project Overview
Beth Dooley, author of Minnesota's Bounty: The Farmers Market Cookbook and The Northern Heartland Kitchen, spoke about Minnesota farmer's market history, seasonal cooking and how to cook with a variety of local ingredients. She also answered a wide variety of questions--from the appeal of balsamic vinegar to how to prepare kohlrabi. She supplied samples of her dishes and ended the program by signing books.

25 people attended. Survey responses showed nearly everyone in attendence completed a survey and reported learning something about cooking or baking, new recipes and are interested in checking out library materials about cooking.
