Project Overview
Henna Body Art by Victoria led a henna workshop where teens were given henna design makeovers and learned about the history, science, and tradition of the art form. The instructor taught the teens how to make their own henna and henna cones. Finally, she taught them how to design their own henna designs and created henna tattoos on them as well. The teens were nervous at first and no one wanted to try doing any on their own skin, but after a while almost all of the teens did at least a small design on their own skin. The instructor was very impressed with the work from two or three of the teens.
