Tina Rohde and Colleen Shaskin provide a connection to imagination and education in a lively story time using various techniques to teach the story to their audiences. In Safari Adventures", young adventurers enjoy meeting a menagerie of animal friends with stories of the jungles, rain forests, mountains and caves.

Participants may gain skills in storytelling, communication and language. They will learn to enjoy stories being told to them and acted out with or without props. Participants may gain confidence in their ability to perform in front of a group. Anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants enjoyed learning the skill of storytelling and learned to communicate through telling a story, acting it out and listening and watching. Participants learned about props, performing in front of a group and participating in a story. Parents learned how to add to their storytelling and reading techniques.
