Project Overview

A multi-generational 1 1/2 hour program, during which individuals will create a miniature fairy house using a variety of materials. Each fairy house will be an unique creation, limited only by the individual's imagination. Fairies are mythical beings living in nature going back centuries and the inspiration of folk tales, poetry, cartoons and Shakespearean plays.

Each fairy house will be a unique creation based on the individual's imagination and background. Individuals will have an understanding of fairies in mythology and nature. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Both adults and children were able to converse while they crafted their fairy homes, lending suggestions to each other and making up stories that guided the crafting process and resulted in house designs unique to each individual.
