Artist and jewelry designer Jen Anfinson held her "Intro to Macram?" class at the library. Patrons learn the basic knots of macram?and creat a trendy project in class.

Patrons will learn the art of basic knot tying in macram?.Patrons will gain a new interest in making macram?and other handmade arts.Patrons will see the library as a source of programming that is both educational and entertaining. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.
Patrons learned the basic knot tying art of macram?. Since we had a small class size the patrons had the opportunity to make either a wall hanging or a piece of jewelry and most patrons chose to do the jewelry. One patron who attended was also a jewelry designer but had never learned the art of macram?so they really enjoyed learning something new. All patrons enjoyed the morning class!
