Lifetime of Memories with Little Golden Books - Ellen Radel
Ellen Radel has been collecting Little Golden Books for almost ten years, and has over 1000 different titles in her collection. Her presentation on Little Golden Books includes a rich discussion of why theses little books were so dear to many of us when we were growing up and the memories they bring up. It also includes a brief, but colorful history of how/when Little Golden Books were published including a display of the first 12 Little Golden Books published.

That those attending will enjoy sharing memories and listening to Ellen as she talked about her hobby. it will be interesting to find out which books were the first published. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.
Ellen's presentation was excellent. She shared so many interesting stories about herself and about the books she has collected. It was very interesting to realize that we have such a visual connection to many of these books. Many we remember because of the color and others are the picture on the cover. Everyone who attend this program had a very enjoyable evening and many books were purchased because of a memory.
