Learn basic sewing stitches and create a stuffed animal out of socks, 100% unique and handmade! This is a 2 hour multi-generational class for children age 4-13 working with a parent/grandparent. Registration will be 15 pairs working together to create a sock animal.

Participants will learn basic sewing stitches. Participants will use imagination and creativity to create a unique craft project. Participants will work together to complete a craft project. Participants will take home a complete project to enjoy and share. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants learned simple sewing stitches. Participants followed directions from the presenter and completed this craft project. Participants felt a sense of accomplishment working together in pairs to be able to complete this project and take home a finished stuffed animal.
