The show is The Country Mouse and The City Mouse: the Mouse-ical!
The Country Mouse and The City Mouse is about the traditional story, but with more of the theme of acceptance of differences. The play is about 30-40 minutes in run time, with the first half being the story and second half activities for the children that co-inside with the story.

This program highlights the Collaborative Summer Reading Theme and iRead that will teach kids about accepting differences and introduce them to live theater. Participant evaluations and anecdotal responses will be collected.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The children who attended this performance learned the classic tale of the country and city mouse, many of which had never heard the story. The performers took time to teach the children some aspects of live drama.
