Practicing the ancient art of henna since 1998, Judy Ostrowski of Mehndi Moon Henna Body Art specializes in intuitive designs as well as traditional designs from many cultures. She also teaches classes to pass on the joy that henna brings.

To encourage further education and attendance at future cultural and/or arts events. To reinforce the idea that libraries are places to experience cultural or arts programming.
Measurable Outcome(s)
Students were excited to learn about henna while receiving their personal art. Several mentioned wanting to learn the art themselves. People that thought they knew about henna and just wanted to get a piece of art were surprised by the differences between the various cultures throughout history that have used henna as art. They specifically wanted to learn about the cultures they didn't know about.
