Community Collaborations: Celebrate 50 Years of Art & Culture with ACT
By forming this partnership we will preserve the history of ACT in our community for future generations and celebrate their success over a 50 year span. We will offer an open house to the public to view the photo collages and exhibits that we will create through the process of this grant project and form bonds with this organizations that have not existed before. We will be able to demonstrate to our community that through collaborating together Great Things Can Happen! We will survey guest that attend the open house and request suggestions of other collaboration that might be possible to strengthen the preservation of our cultural heritage.
We had 25 individuals attend the program, from many different walks of life. They all enjoyed the program and are glad to see that an effort has been taken to preserve our cultural history for future generations. A few of the younger attendees were not aware that ACT has been in the community for 50 years, but all attendees enjoyed the PowerPoint presentation and looking at the photo collages and play props in our display. We had no negative comments.
