Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

To increase access to and enhance audience comfort and confidence with unfamiliar music styles. To teach children about tolerance and cultural differences and similarity. To encourage further education and attendance at future music and/or arts events. To increase access to educational and family-friendly music. To reinforce the idea that libraries are places to experience cultural or arts programming.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Many kids wanted to learn about the cultures Larry spoke about in his show, specifically about the clothes worn. Some want to wear and try on the clothing of other nations, especially the items worn in the desert, for the hot days in Minnesota. Others want to learn more dancing from other cultures. Everyone was excited when Larry gave a CD to every family in attendance to all of his shows.
