Community Collaboration--Six Appeal Assembly, Clinics and Concert
Three proposed outcomes: 1) Students who participate in the clinics will increase their vocal music skills such as critical listening, healthy vocal technique, intonation, and rhythm. 2) Individuals who attend the evening concert will have an increased appreciation for acapella music. 3) Individuals who attend the evening concert will view Pine Island as a community with an active music scene.
Outcome #1: Students who participate in the clinics will increase their vocal music skills such as critical listening, healthy vocal technique, intonation, and rhythm.
The responses received to this question demonstrate that this outcome was met. Selected responses include: I learned how well the human voice could mimic other sounds; I learned how to listen to the whole group and match the pitch.
Outcome #2: Individuals who attend the evening concert will have an increased appreciation for acapella music. 93% of respondents agreed that the concert met this outcome.
Outcome #3: Individuals who attend the evening concert will view Pine Island as a community with an active music scene. 83% of respondents agreed that the concert met this outcome.
