What We're Reading
MN FY20: A 1-hour radio show that includes book reviews, book lists, book and author news, reader reviews or discussion, book events, book groups, book suggestions, and musical interludes. Includes a public What We're Reading group on Facebook. MN FY21: Ten Twenty 10-15-minute book segments/author interviews
$1,700,000 the first year and $1,775,000 the second year are for Minnesota Public Radio to create programming and expand news service on Minnesota's cultural heritage and history.
1) Annual survey: A majority of listeners surveyed will report that they have more access to and appreciation for the writer's art in Minnesota. They will agree that this program helps increase locally- and Minnesota- focused content produced by public radio, and increases the number of local writers and others that have their work showcased through public broadcasting
2) Facebook activity: The Facebook group associated with this program will reflect book recommendations, discussion, and participation in reading. Membership in the group will continue to grow from the current 357
3) Feedback: Collect responses from readers and writers that illustrate the desired outcomes of the ACHF
