Live from Minnesota-KFAI
KFAI will collaborate with musicians and artists to create a performance series that will take place at local broadcast facilities and be shared with local television and social media via video production. The station will also record and edit the audio from the performances for later broadcast on the station.
$1,775,000 the first year and $1,700,00 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes section 129D.19.Of this amount, $75,000 the first year is for the Veterans' Voices program to educate and engage communities regarding veterans' contributions, knowledge, skills and experiences with an emphasis on Korean War veterans.
More Minnesotans of all ages, ethnicities, and incomes will have have access to Minnesota art and music. The project will help arts to thrive in Minnesota. The project will result in an increase in locally focused content by public radio.
