Project Overview

The Roadhouse is a two-hour weekly arts and culture magazine program, which features in-depth interviews and an in-studio musical performance with regional musicians, providing area residents, visitors, and potential visitors access to the arts, culture and history of the area. Interviews and musical performances are archived on our web site and are available for distribution throughout the state, nationally and world wide. Musical acts who perform will be compensated.

Appropriation Language

$1,775,000 the first year and $1,700,00 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes section 129D.19.Of this amount, $75,000 the first year is for the Veterans' Voices program to educate and engage communities regarding veterans' contributions, knowledge, skills and experiences with an emphasis on Korean War veterans.
