Mississippi River Festival
The ACHF pays a portion of expenses for an annual 2-day outdoor music festival that is broadcast live
$1,775,000 the first year and $1,700,00 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes section 129D.19.Of this amount, $75,000 the first year is for the Veterans' Voices program to educate and engage communities regarding veterans' contributions, knowledge, skills and experiences with an emphasis on Korean War veterans.
1) Annual survey: A majority of listeners surveyed will report that the event increased the number of Minnesotans who have more knowledge, information, and access to arts and to Minnesota's history and cultural heritage through public broadcasting.
2) Feedback: Collect any responses from musicians, event attendees and radio listeners that reflect the priorities of the ACHF for public broadcasting. Musical artists will acknowledge that their work has been showcased via public radio broadcasting. Attendees and listeners will affirm that they have had an arts and culture experience that increases their ability to participate in the arts at a venue or through a public radio broadcast
