In-depth multiple sourced radio interviews and podcasts, featuring historians, artists, authors, musicians and other compelling sources of regional newsmakers telling their stories relevant to Central Minnesota. Also, production of a daily program called Arts Collage airing to promote arts and culture events in Central Minnesota.
$1,700,000 the first year and $1,775,000 the second year are for Minnesota Public Radio to create programming and expand news service on Minnesota's cultural heritage and history.
An increase in locally-focused and Minnesota focused content produced by public radio that is designed to increase the understanding of the history, culture, and stories unique to Central Minnesota. More local artists, historians, authors, and musicians will have their work showcased through public broadcasting.
