Project Overview

KMSU will help to support this annual reconciliation event in September of each year at Land of Memories Park. KMSU will pay for the drummer to perform at this event which exposes more Minnesotans to Native American culture and history. KMSU will also conduct a 10-15 minute on-air interview with event organizers and drummers in the days prior to the event. This supports non-natives learning about native culture and history, and provides the opportunity for others who may not be able to attend to learn more about the event. There will be two events supported during the biennium.
