Area Voices
A series of live and pre-produced arts, culture, and history interviews that are integrated into the Morning Show and Morning Edition.
$1,700,000 the first year and $1,775,000 the second year are for Minnesota Public Radio to create programming and expand news service on Minnesota's cultural heritage and history.
1) Annual survey: A majority of listeners surveyed will report that they have more knowledge, information, and access to the arts, Minnesota's history, and cultural heritage. They will agree that this program helps increase locally- and Minnesota-focused content produced by public radio, increases the number of local artists, historians, writers, and others that have their work showcased through public broadcasting.
2) Engagement on social media: We will track and report the reach of top Facebook posts and links related to Area Voices
3) Listener and participant feedback: We will collect any feedback from the audience to evaluate whether the program reflects the priorities of the ACHF for public broadcasting, including expanded knowledge, information, and access to arts and Minnesota's cultural heritage
