Ampers digital archive, website & social media: to comply with Minnesota Statute 129d.19 Ampers must archive all Arts & Cultural Heritage programming produced by Ampers and its member stations, continue to maintain an infrastructure to make the programs available to all noncommercial radio stations eligible for state grants, and make these programs available online for all Minnesotans now and in the future.
$1,775,000 the first year and $1,700,00 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes section 129D.19.Of this amount, $75,000 the first year is for the Veterans' Voices program to educate and engage communities regarding veterans' contributions, knowledge, skills and experiences with an emphasis on Korean War veterans.
More Minnesotans of all ages, ethnicities, abilities, and income will have access to artistic, cultural, and historical programming. This project will increase the focus on Minnesota artists in Minnesota museums and literary performances. Minnesotans will have easier access to locally focused content and Minnesota focused content produced by public radio and increase the number of local artists, historians, writers, and others who have their work showcased through public radio.
