Boundary Waters Podcast
This monthly podcast features stories and adventure from visitors, both past and present, to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and allows for in-depth interviews with people who work and play in the BWCAW. It is also a venue to learn more about the gear that helps adventuring in this unique setting.
$1,775,000 the first year and $1,700,00 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes section 129D.19.Of this amount, $75,000 the first year is for the Veterans' Voices program to educate and engage communities regarding veterans' contributions, knowledge, skills and experiences with an emphasis on Korean War veterans.
There will be an increased awareness about the cultural and environmental issues and topics relevant to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. There will be an increase in locally-focused and Minnesota focused content produced by public radio that is focused on cultural and environmental issues relevant to the Northern Minnesota.
