Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

To emphasize the importance of classical music in your local community.
To enhance the future classical music performance experience for participants through education.
To increase access to classical music, enhancing audience comfort and confidence with unfamiliar music styles.
To encourage further education and attendance at future music and/or arts events.
To reinforce the idea that libraries are places to experience cultural or arts programming.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The Rose Ensemble is one of our highest ranked shows. Students enjoyed singing with the ensemble and trying the instruments after the performance. Students made special note of the bass singer.
Comments from the show included "...the remarkable joy the group has in their work", everyone was so happy and joining in with the music, question & answer afterwards was amazing, "the entire program was awesome," and "best thing to come to Preston in a long time, I could have listened all night."
When asked for improvements, most people only listed wanting a longer program. One person did request more interaction and teaching. One teacher suggested a study guide or list of possible music to be performed in order to prep the students better for the workshop.
