With a high score of 5 possible, the adults rated the program’s quality as 4.5, having a fun and entertaining time as 5, the program enriching the local arts community as 4.5 and increasing their likelihood of thinking of the library as a place for arts programming as 5. Some quotes gathered from the focus group included “Jack was lucky because he got to be the tortoise in the skit, the Tortoise & the Hare. The skit was really funny,” “It was so cool when Star pulled more and more rope out of her mouth and everybody liked the stars at the end. We will think about magic in our dreams tonight,” “I liked how she incorporated books and a message into her show,” and one little girl was surprised that the magician “was a girl!”
