I have read many books about women in history but the speaker had very interesting insights I had not heard about. Using the 'local' woman of Minnesota really makes history come alive." "I brought back information I learned at the program to my students at Folwell today. We discussed the Civil War and the roles of women. We have some student books about women spies in the Civil War and we were able to 'set the record straight' about this. All during my lessons today I kept hearing myself say...'last night I learned...'"
