Project Overview
Lou and Peter Berryman are musical humorists who have delighted audiences nationwide for more than thirty years. Frequent comparisons to Tom Lehrer, Flanders and Swann, and Burns and Allen notwithstanding, these two are originals. They have produced seventeen albums and four songbooks of their often hilarious, quirky, yet oddly profound songs, and have toured the U.S. and Canada to rave reviews. Berryman songs are sung around the world by a legion of professional musicians, including Peter, Paul & Mary, Peggy Seeger, and Garrison Keillor, as well as shower singers everywhere. Lou and Peter’s songs are not off-color, but often have themes that are beyond the experience of children and therefore, recommended primarily for adults.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Measurable Outcome(s)

Everyone thought the programs were high quality. Lou & Peter Barryman were received very well. Many said how much they appreciated that the program was geared for adults and not a family or children's program. They loved the fact that all Lou & Barry's music were "original, unique lyrics, and upbeat" pieces in verse & music about our state. "They sang faster than my mind could calculate what they sang!" was a response echoed by many. Everyone's favorite song seemed to be "The Stuff Song" because it was a realistic problem for all of us.
