Vetted Programs – Katie Knutson
To enhance the future storytelling performance experience for participants through education.
To increase access to storytelling, enhancing audience comfort and confidence with unfamiliar folk tales.
To encourage further education and attendance at cultural events.
To reinforce the idea that libraries are places to experience cultural or arts programming.
The adults rated the program very highly, especially the participatory elements. Only three adults recorded responses to the question of how we could improve this program and the responses seem to imply that some of the younger children were getting a little restless during parts of the program. The kids enjoyed the worm story the most. It had them yelling and laughing uproariously as they tried to warn Katie about the worm in her apple.
