History of the MCT Constitution and Interpretations-KKWE
This project will bring to life the living document that governs the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe (MCT), the original Constitution and the Revised Constitution of 1963. Through research and conversations, with knowledgeable and qualified MCT members, KKWE and Ampers will create a picture of the ever evolving document.
$1,775,000 the first year and $1,700,00 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes section 129D.19.Of this amount, $75,000 the first year is for the Veterans' Voices program to educate and engage communities regarding veterans' contributions, knowledge, skills and experiences with an emphasis on Korean War veterans.
More Minnesotans of all ages, ethnicities and incomes will have access to Minnesota history. This project will help to interweave history into more facets of community life. This project will result in an increase in locally and Minnesota-focused content produced by public radio.
