Project Overview
The Weavers Guild of Minnesota will provide an instructor and all supplies for patrons to learn about dyeing fabric. Patrons will learn about Bengala dyes which are made from soil and are environmentally safe. Patrons will use these dyes to create a uniquely patterned silk scarf which they will be able to keep.

Patrons will learn about Bengala dyes and will be able to create an art project that they can take home. Patrons will be able to socialize amongst themselves and meet the local artist that teaches the class.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Patrons learned about Bengala dyes and decorated silk scarves which they were able to keep. Patrons enjoyed the class and meeting the local artist who taught the class.
