Minnesota and Family History - Summer 2016
Patrons will learn about Minnesota and African American history. Patrons will learn about specific contributions of African Americans in Minnesota. Patrons will find African American cultural heritage and history reflected in the programs.
Results from kids evaluations: 100% of kids learned about Minnesota and African American history. 100% of kids learned one new thing about the program’s subject. 100% liked the program. Selected comments: “The presentation as wonderful! It felt like Jackie R. was really talking to us.”
Results of adult evaluation: 100% of adults learned about Minnesota and African American history. 100% learned about specific contributions of African Americans in Minnesota. 100% felt African American cultural heritage and history were reflected in this program. 100% felt the information presented was relevant to my life. 100% rated the quality of the program as good or better. Selected comment: “It was great! Very dynamic lots of new knowledge about all that Jackie did in his life.”
