Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Youth will learn sewing/textile arts techniques from a teaching artist.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The instructor did a great job talking about gnomes before the program and talking about the sewing project. There were plenty of supplies and some kids chose to make 3 gnomes, some 2 and some 1. They learned about making a pattern, sewing, and creating something they liked. Everyone was happy with the gnome they made. The teacher was very approachable and good at helping the kids keep safe, but do their own cutting sewing and designing.
