Children and teens will be engaged in the creative process and develop deeper learning at they create or perform.

Measurable Outcome(s)

ArtStart led taught three classes for Anoka County Library over the summer. In Minnesota History in Motion, kids learned the dances of the French Voyageurs and immigrant communities from Sweden to Puerto Rico - all contributors to the rich mosaic of Minnesota culture.

They also experienced the sights and sounds many different musical instruments from the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and parts of Asia as Music Mundial performs a variety of musical styles.

Finally, the reviewed some of the originals of Warner Brothers and Disney animation art as well as examples of original comic strips/comic books and discuss how they were created.
