ArtStart - Adult, Summer
Patrons will learn new art techniques and have the chance to practice what they've learned under the tutelage of an ArtStart instructor. Patrons will create art projects that they can take home. Patrons will have the opportunity to socialize amongst themselves and to meet the local artist teaching their class.
Patrons practiced and made things with art techniques taught in these classes. This got rave reviews. Attendees learned a lot about native plants to use in their gardens, how to attract and protect pollinators & butterflies, and learned a new skill working with ceramics. Painting on Glass was a little messy (even for adults - thankfully, ArtStart provided plastic table covers) but a lot of fun, especially once everyone understood the basics. The instructor, Jeanette, was very encouraging. In another class, patrons learned about Native American art and saw some great samples to show. The instructor, Jeanette, was also a very good teacher, going through the steps and giving people help when needed.
