Project Overview
May Lee-Yang is a Hmong playwright, poet, prose writer, performance artist and community activist. She uses theater and performance as a powerful way to tell stories in an engaging format. Participants will play theater games, do improv, learn about creating characters, and get a taste of the creation, rehearsal and performance process involved in creating theater. This is a six-week course; plan to attend all six sessions.
