African Drumming: Every child had a drum. Instructor, Ghana, is also a professional drummer. He had the kids playing complex rhythms, substructures, sing and dance and play solos. Djembe and stick drums. Stellar program. Gifted teacher, talented drummer. Would have him back often.

Secret of the Mummies: Ella was a fantastic teacher. She started the class by having them look at books on ancient Egypt while they waited for everyone to arrive. Then they talked about what they knew about Egypt as an entry into what they were about to make, the significance of the designs on the sarcophagus, etc... it was really helpful I think to keeping them interested and then each child put a unique spin on what they were doing and Ella led them through the process, giving kids help when needed, but she did a great job of letting them all do it their own way and helping them make there vision work.
