The public will learn about the creative writing process and enhance their writing skills.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants learned about a variety of creative writing techniques and topics from experts at The Loft Literary Center. Over sixty percent of participants believed they increased their knowledge on the topic presented. About ninety-five percent of participants were inspired to apply what they learned. Around eighty-five percent of participants learned new information about library resources available to writers. Participants new to writing appreciated the inspiration and tools to get them started. More seasoned writers appreciated the supportive environment and also learned new skills to help them on their creative writing path.
