Project Overview
Washington County Library will be taking the annual Bookawocky Summer Reading Program off site for the first time in 2016. The program will be offered in partnership with school district 625 at Oneka Elementary in School in Hugo as well as the Discovery Center in Oakdale. Kid at each location will be able to participate in the program, earn reward books for completing, and interact with library staff during regular visits over the summer.

Washington County Library will reach otherwise underserved children in the Hugo area by allowing them to participate in the Summer Reading Program at their local summer school/care program. Children who participate will engage in a variety of literacy activities, read and review books with their peers, and reduce the chance of summer learning loss.
