Project Overview

The Roe Family Singers are a local family folk band who provided a series of programs sponsored by the Washington County Library at five branch locations. Quillian and Kim Roe and additional band members performed good-time, old-time, hillbilly band music. Their programs incorporate audience participation and encourage young children to think about the lessons contained within their songs.

Roe Family Singers:
Local family folk band with husband & wife, Quillan & Kim Roe (and additional band members) performed at five of our libraries. Their performances incorporated audience participation and encouraged young children to think about the lessons contained within their songs. Participants were introduced to folk music and enjoyed music and cultural entertainment.
