Ramsey County Library sponsored a Poetry Slam in the Maplewood Library. Local contestants performed their original poetry and were judged by members from the community.

9th Annual Poetry Slam
Date and Location:
May 1, 2010 - Maplewood Library - 13 participants
2010 poetry slam theme was art and culture. In honor of the Legacy Amendment, which has provided Ramsey County Library with funding for arts and cultural programming, contestants were asked to write a poem about an artform that inspires you, a tradition passed along in your culture or anything related.
