Project Overview

Dakota County Library sponsored an event at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center entitled "Rhythm and Words Family Music Festival".

A day long event of authors and musical entertainment for the whole family. Featured authors Jarrett Krosoczka and Chris Moore and musical guests Bunny Clogs, Clementown, Koo Koo Kanga Roo, The Sweet Colleend and the Whistlingpigs String Band. All events took place at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center.

Large attendance for Dakota County Library's first-ever music festival. The wide variety of musical styles offered something for everyone. The Kindermusik sample classes were held to packed rooms each session. Slower turnout in the afternoon, but overall successful day of music, books and fun for everyone.
