Project Overview

Dakota County Library in cooperation with Eagan Art House sponsored an art series for elementary aged children on drawing animals. Learn to draw your favorite animals using a variety of media.

Organizational Partner: Eagan Art House

The Eagan Art House, a part of Eagan Parks & Recreation, offers art classes, workshops and special events for all ages. Offerings include pottery, painting, drawing, pastels, after school and Saturday classes for children, parent/child, teen classes, classes for homeschoolers, scouts and more.

* June 29, 2010 - Wescott Library (Eagan)
* July 14, 2010 - Farmington Library
* July 23, 2010 - Galaxie Library (Apple Valley)

More boys (ages 7 - 11) than girls attended this workshop series making it a good draw for a hard to reach audience.
