Project Overview

An afternoon of African music as musicians sing songs in several languages with electric guitar and percussion accompaniment. Program sponsored by Ramsey County Library and held in the Shoreview Library

Karibuni, an international ensemble under the direction of Mick LaBriola, takes its name from the Swahili word for “welcome”. They present a dynamic, multi-lingual program of popular music with a focus on countries in east and central Africa.
