Anoka County Library - "As You Like It" Program
Anoka County Library sponsored a Shakespeare event with Lyric Arts Theater. Lyric Arts provided age appropriate Shakespeare programs for adults and teens. Each program included group discussion, a primer provided by Director Stephen O'Toole on the "As You Like It" production and attendance at the program.

Fifteen adults read and attended the play and took part in the discussion session. Anoka County Library staff planners learned that Shakespeare was not a vehicle for popular teen programming
A valuable partnership with an Anoka County theater group was established and more programs are in the planning stage.
Measurable Outcomes may be collected by survey, anecdotal responses, pre-test/post-test, observations; End user change in Behavior, Attitude, Skills, Knowledge, Condition and/or StatusProgram participants will gain an appreciation and deeper understanding of theater, Shakespeare and his play "As You Like It".
