Project Overview
To Africans, dance is life in action. This dynamic and skilled company brings to you such dances as Kete, a romantic court dance of the Ashanti and Akuapim peoples; Bamaya, a popular social dance of the Dagbani people; and Kpaalogo, a recreational dance of the Ghana youth. Students are invited to particiapte in call and response songs, learn traditional rhythms, and try out some dance steps.
