Participants will learn about Charles Lindbergh, his life in Minnesota, and about life in early 20th century America.
Many participants learned many things about Charles Lindbergh they did not know previously - mainly had heard before about flight and the infamous kidnapping. This tour provided much more in-depth knowledge of Lindbergh, his early life and privileged upbringing, his life in MN with his family, his youth and accomplishments. Many were surprised to learn about his Nazi sympathies during WWII - this is an aspect of Lindbergh that many were not aware of. Comments include: "I learned so much about Charles Lindbergh's life - there was so much more to the story than just flying." " I had heard about Lindbergh in books, newspaper articles, and had seen documentaries on TV - but this trip helped me understand him as a boy, a student, and a man. He was a remarkable human being; not perfect, but extraordinary."
