Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees (students) will gain an appreciation of music and reading. They will learn that reading is important and fun! They will be exposed to a unique musical performance by Emmy Award winning performers.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Comments are representative of responses at the end of the concert from students at Canby Elementary, Stevens Elementary, and MMN Elementary. Students learned that Mozart wrote the tune to the Chicken Song? They were exposed to new & unusual instruments such as the box banjo, castanets, bones, spoons, jugs, wild slide, wash board, and rumba box. More than 90% would love the library to host another program at their school.
