The Slew Foot Family Band
The Slew Foot Family Band (Duane & Karen Becker & their 8 kids) travel the Midwest playing a variety of styles of music with a variety of instruments - guitars, fiddles, mandolins, banjos, bass, hammered dulcimer, harmonicas, and the tin whistle - in addition to clogging. The whole family stays involved!

The Slew Foot Family Band played a great variety of music, including gospel songs, oldies, and old war songs. Participants commented that they appreciated the variety of music played, which helped them develop an appreciation for different types of music they may not have been familiar with before. The band also used an amazing number of instruments...in new and interesting way! Attendee comments showed that one of the most appreciated parts of the performance was the clogging! Many people commented how much they enjoyed the 'family' aspect of this performance -- they enjoyed seeing the kids work together and the inclusive nature of the event.
