Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants will learn about the rich history of Minnesota with visits to the Runestone Museum & Fort Alexandria, as well as the history of winemaking in Minnesota. Participants may gain some skills and knowledge in winemaking, and may develop an interest in making wine at home - which is part of the rich history of wine in Minnesota.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Many participants stated they learned more about the history of wine than they had ever known before. Many were surprised about how old wine and winemaking actually is in MN. Many participants learned new knowledge about the Vikings in MN and the history behind the Runestone. Several responded that they did not know the Runestone Museum existed before this trip. Think everyone learned some 'new' MN history on this trip!
