Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants will receive instruction in learning how to paint - which is a daunting task for many. They will learn step-by-step painting techniques and experience the joy of making something with their hands. The art studio is local so this program will also help to promote a local artist.

Measurable Outcome(s)

participants were provided step-by-step instructions on painting techniques -- how to mix colors, how to properly splatter paint, how to choose a proper brush etc. Positive feedback was received that participants appreciated the opportunity to try something like this without having to pay a lot of money to do it. People enjoyed taking the class with a friend and getting to try something new. It's also nice to be able to help support a local artist who already does work in the community.
