Minnesota mystery author Christopher Valen will present an author program focusing on his writing process and his John Santana mystery series.

Those attending will have an opportunity to meet a Minnesota author and gain an understanding/appreciation for the difficulties and challenges of the writing process.
Audience members enjoyed hearing about Valen's books - especially the detailed information of his research and careful selection of book titles. Rather than have a completely pre-planned program, Valen spoke about the research/inspiration for each book, gave a brief book synopsis for each title - then opened the room to questions. And attendees had many thoughtful questions to ask!
