Cardboard Confessionals
Mitch Reed is the author of the book "Cardboard Confessionals." As a teacher, Mitch found a way to understand and support his students by exploring experiences and backgrounds confessed by his students into a cardboard box when being asked a series of questions. The book is a recap of the answers along with possible outcomes, without disclosing the person writing the answer to the questions.

Student attending will come away having learned some social and emotional skills from the presentation. They may even have a better understanding of themselves. Parents/teachers/counselors attending might have a better understanding of the students, what they are thinking/dreaming/wanting in life, and how to work with them to achieve it.
Students/parents attending were impressed with the author and the program. They liked how he talked about the different answers the students in the book gave to the questions. They learned how others influence them, and how they influence others by the things they say or do. A very worthwhile program - they wished more had attended.
